Beautiful lips are a must on your wedding day, but between kissed congratulations, dances and champagne, you could be reapplying lipstick all night long. This kissable lips trick will stain your lips the perfect shade of red or pink and keep them that color throughout the ceremony and the reception!

Here’s what you’ll need:

– Koolaid (cherry, strawberry or another pink or red flavor)
– 1 cotton swab
– Clear lip balm

How to Create the Trick

It’s super simple to make this trick. You just moisten the cotton swab and then dip it into the Koolaid. Rub this along your lips for about 10 minutes – enough to stain your lips the color of the Koolaid.

You can do this until you’ve reached the desired color. Then, you simply wipe your lips with a damp cloth to get the remaining powder off, and apply the clear lip balm.

The result is perfectly tinted lips without the fear of rubbing off your lipstick or getting lipstick on your dress, your groom’s shirt, etc. Of course, there are lip stains available out there, but they’re not as cheap and definitely not as fun and tasty as this trick. If you don’t care for the glossy look, you don’t have to apply the lip balm after staining your lips.

The stain will last for several hours, and you shouldn’t have to reapply at all throughout your ceremony and reception!
