Extra Special Details
Jenna and Travis really wanted an outdoor engagement session at a location with trees, a wide open field, and maybe even a creek running through it. Luckily the photographer lives near the Kettle Moraine Forest, in Wisconsin, so they had lots of options! The shoot is in Nichols Creek Wildlife area, and the Parnell Tower loop.
They had to push their session back about a month, putting them into the chillier fall months. Jenna had dreamed of something more summery, but it all worked out perfectly! The fall colors were just starting to turn, but she was still able to wear the shorts and short sleeved tops she wanted since it wasn’t too cold yet.
They ended their session by climbing to the top of Parnell Tower, and overlooking the beautiful Kettle Moraine Forest, which made for an epic sunset picture! The best thing about their engagement session was how in love these two are. You can tell by the way Travis holds Jenna and the way she looks up at him.
- Jenna brought several things to their engagement session that they could use as props – including a blanket they could wrap up in, and scrabble pieces that they used with their engagement rings.
- They also had several outfit changes and had amazing locations to work in!
- Plan out great locations, clothing, and props, and you’re bound to have a variety of amazing photos from your engagement session!
