Let’s get hitched – in space

Apparently it’s possible…and getting popular! The Luxist, a great blog about luxury living, recently did a post about these far out weddings.

For a small fee of 2.2 million bucks, even you can tie the knot quite literally amongst the stars. DVICE has another fab post about it. Rocketplane Kistler Japan, the transportation, and First Advantage, the wedding planner, will take you high into the sky for a one-hour ceremony. Only downside (other than the large price tag) is that it’s not really a valid wedding of two people – no government (at least on earth) will recognize it. But let’s be honest – if you can afford to get married in space, a few extra hours and dollars on earth won’t break your bank. As DVICE puts it – at least you’ll have some cool wedding pictures!

WOW, that’s out of this world! How cool would that be to have the stars and Earth’s horizon behind you in your wedding pictures?!
