Using lovely casual attire is really a great way to make your engagement simply romantic-but that’s not the only thing that’s great about the engagement we’re featuring today. Brad and Carly’s engagement had a lot of rustic elements in their photo shoot! Now that’s one engagement for the books! So, here’s a big thank you to Open Aperture Photography for giving us a preview of this amazing Downtown New Bern Engagement! The shoot features photos along the Trent and Neuse Rivers, in James Reed Lane (known for its beautiful brick and water fountain) and on Middle St. What makes it a lot special is how the lovely sunset hit the venue which was so surreal! Take this Advice
Take bottles of water on your shoot – no one can have a genuine smile while thirsty. Find a photographer who will work with you, not just “for” you. Don’t hesitate to share a Pinterest inspiration board – they don’t know what you’re after unless you share it. ~Carly Swain/Bride
