My aunt went to a wedding and the favors were bags of potato chips from Costco!

Worst favors ever received - little chocolate truffles that tasted quite stale and awful. I appreciate the difficulty of finding good favors, but what’s the point of having chocolates if nobody will enjoy them?

The best wedding favor I’ve received is a tiny bamboo plant. Now I keep it on my desk at work - it is the only favor I’ve gotten that is both beautiful and useful, and hasn’t ended up in a box somewhere or thrown away. And every time I look at it I think about the bride & groom. Very nice idea!

The worst? A picture frame with the bride & groom initials. I have no idea what to do with it. I’d rather have chocolates any day.

Anything involving food is always awesome - so the best is chocolate-chip cookies!

I haven’t been to any weddings, but the best favor I can think of would be a snack pack of goodies for the trip home filled with either local favorites or favorites of the bride and groom. Not only is it tasty, but I get to learn something new about the people whose wedding I attended.

I’m not a fan of favors that are monogrammed or too personalized for the bride & groom. What are you supposed to do with something with someone else’s initials or name on it?
I love favors that are tasty treats to enjoy when the party goes late into the night. Those are the best!

The BEST favor I ever received is an ice cream scooper! We use that thing almost daily for ice cream, sorbet, even as a scooper for mashed potatoes at dinner. The best favor ever. We think of the couple all the time! The WORST favor I’d have to say is NOTHING (yes I’ve been to a wedding where they didn’t give favors) OR those Italian Almonds. So not interested!

The best favor I received was at a recent multi-cultural wedding. The groom was from India, and the favors were individual hand-carved elephant keepsakes. What really made the gifts unique were that everyone at the table received a different one, making opening up the gifts and admiring them a much more memorable process. Everyone was handing theirs around the table and comparing, but they were all so beautiful that no one was disappointed. And my fiancee and I were able to take both of them home and not have the same favor. We’ll be keeping them in our curio cabinet to remind ourselves of the great wedding. The favors struck up a lot of conversation, and will definitely stay with us for much longer than a box of candies

The Worst was a bottle of Aspirin. I don’t know if it was for the guest who drank to much or if they thought the music would be to loud. But you would be surprised how many actually used it by Midnight~! lol But the reception was a hoedown so you can just imagine!
The Best was a Gift Card for local businesses. They were all different. They had Dunkin Donuts , Movie Gallery, Sub Way and so on. They were not worth a lot of money but they were all something anyone could use and the guest had fun bartering with each other for their cards. If one guest wanted the Dunkin Donuts Gift Card and someone else wanted the Movie Gallery Gift Card they would trade. I think everyone ended up with a Gift Card of their choice. I thought it was a grand idea. This couple went all out and had a wonderful wedding.

The best wedding favor I received was an elegant note stating the Bride and Groom donated to a charity in my honor. This was something so simple and meaningful at the same time. I was so thankful I did not have to take another trinket home and the money that was spent on the favor would be used for something good.

The worst wedding favors Ive ever seen were “pebbles of love”. Ok people, they were ROCKS with the word love painted on them! Yes, rocks. Haha. Im thinking the best Ive seen were decorative mugs with love-themed coffee packs inside. Who doesnt need coffee? And who wouldnt use the mug atleast!?

The worst favor I’ve received was candy corn, which I don’t like. It would have been ok if the wedding was Halloween themed but it was in April! Needless to say alot of those favors remained on the tables when guests were leaving to go home…lol!

The best favor I received was a “morning after” basket - it had 3 types of homemade mini muffins, orange juice, and water. Me and my date gobbled it up after we woke up the next morning! It was just so thoughtful because the bride’s mom had spent that morning baking the muffins for 175 guests to ensure they were fresh as possible!

A wedding I went to this past summer was beautiful. The wedding favors were beautiful. Everyone recieved candles in cast iron holders, wrapped with green leaves around them. Also, had the couples name, and date they got married. Beautiful.
