These suggestions were really fantastic! I wish I had followed this advice when I had married 8 years ago. I found we were so caught up in the moment, that we were busy with guests, etc. and even lost track of each other. We took out a large 2 level boat for the first part of our reception, and I kept getting separated from my new hubby- I even got on the speaker system at one point and paged him :)

Since that time (still happily married!), I started my own business, and approx. 90% of my customers are brides (& grooms). We produce journals for the entire wedding party, but the ones I love the most are the "For My Groom" and "For My Bride" journals. The brides & grooms purchase the journals, fill them out with affectionate thoughts, then often exchange them on the night before their wedding, the day of the wedding, or shortly after. It is a great way to share that "private, special moment" you were referring to. And with the thoughts in the journal, they can remember that moment for years and years...

PS- yes, I'd have to say one of my fondest moments from my wedding was the limo ride to the reception. We were alone and just giddy with love and happiness...
