These colors together just make me so happy!
While they make me think spring and summer, using “dusty” or more muted tones of each color would adapt this combination perfectly to fall and winter events.
If you use these colors, look through all the “blue” options you have – there are quite a few out there. And make sure your yellow isn’t too…neon. While it would wake you up, it might be a little too much for the eyes.

I love the robins’ egg blue and yellow combination. The blue is so delicate and the yellow adds punch. Not the kind you drink. My son grew up, left home, took the dog and simply refuses to wear a dress so I will never be “mother of the bride”. I find my pleasures vicariously and by sewing silk confections ( hangers) that let me hang around all the beautiful brides on their glorious day.
Now I have this need to go into the kitchen and dye some ribbons robbins egg blue.
