Shoes! How can i be expected to narrow down my shoe selection to just one pair! I havent decided if I am going to do a blue pair, for the "something blue" or a color that will match my color scheme (which yes, I still havent finalized yet). I am 5′9" and my fiance is 6′1", so I can do a little heel, I really dont want to go above 3 inches, just for comforts sake. Here are a few of the cute shoes I found online today!

I have been in several weddings and have received some ho-hum gifts that I have never used again. So for my wedding I wanted to put a bit of thought into my gifts. I wanted to give my bridesmaids something they will use more than just once. Below are the gifts I am thinking of giving everyone, and then adding in a couple personalized gifts for each girl. I have already got the monogrammed totes that I am putting everything in. Then its just some simple gifts that are relaxing! A plush robe, some shower gel, candles and my favorite wine, Cakebread.

Bridesmaid dress shopping is a pain when you have your bridesmaids scattered all across the US. I worry whether the style I decide on will look good on everyone. I am also trying to keep the cost of the dresses down since they all have to fly/drive to Houston and get hotels, etc. My wedding will be in the heat of the Summer in Houston, TX. If you have ever been here in the summer then you know how HOT it gets. Below are some of the options for some summer dresses I am contemplating.

Right now I am obsessed with cakes. I am trying to narrow down my cake selection so my friend can start making samples for me to taste (yum the best part!) Below are come cupcakes she did for a friends engagement party. Super cute! I am also trying to decide between the elegant and traditional cake, or the fun and funky polka dot cake….what do you think

I am fortunate to have a great friend who is an awesome baker that will be making my wedding cake for me. My problem is there are so many designs and styles that I cant choose one! Round, square, funky, traditional, it goes on and on!

Hello all! This is my first post! I originally had my wedding planned for January 2009, but with work, and uncoperative vendors, I had to change the date to July 25, 2009. So now I am in the midst of a dilema. I originally wanted charcoal grey dresses for my bridesmaids, with accents of green, cream and white. I think it will be a color scheme that I will not regret in the future! So is charcoal grey too deep of a color for a summer wedding? I was thinking of adding some purple accents here and there just to punch it up a bit. Your thoughts?
