Sweet Wine

This past week I was on a five days road trip with my FH visiting family.
We went to North Carolina for two nights, two nights in Virginia and on the way back home, a quick four hours tour in DC. How fun….
One of the highlights of the trip was a vineyard / winery we visited at Yadkin Valley – NC.

The whole combination of chilly weather, great wine and beautiful views made me wonder what a wedding in such location would look like.

If you have this theme in mind, here are some inspirations.

Where else would be more romantic than a vineyard for tying the knot?

Congrats Tracy, our winner for the KKG custom stamp giveaway! We’re told you picked a fabulous set from the wedding line (always a good choice).

Also, props to Karate Kat Graphics for making a donation to The Wellness Community, Mandi’s fave charitable org. And props to Mandi for being so giving of her time to help others in need. :) We’re blessed to have such AWESOME readers.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Every bride has her own special way to invite her bridesmaids.

We always think of something nice for our girls. A special card, a special message, a special gift…whatever will make them feel special for being part of our big day and plannings.

How about the groomsman? Why not send something special for them as well? After all, they will also be part of your wedding party.

Today, I’ve found out two very interesting things for these guys.
The first finding that I would like to share with all of you, are these really cute cards that your fiancee (or yourself) can send them to make an “official invitation”.

Also, If you want to make sure they know what their responsiblities really are, you might want to send attached to the “groomsman invitation” this website, which was my second finding of the day: The Groom’s Guide.
This site explains what it takes to be a best man or a groomsman.
Fun !

Wave Good Buy

If you’re planning on waving good buy and so long to your guests as you’re leaving your reception, consider doing it in STYLE! Here are some of my top pics. (And please keep in mind, while I like to look at cars now and then, I don’t know too much about them. It may be physically impossible to get your hands on a few of these… unless you have the cash and the connections! Let these simply serve as a little get-away inspiration.)

Vintage Rolls Royce

If you saw one of my “favorite things” post, you saw this little number. One of my absolute favorites! A 1960 Rolls Royce. Delicious! Picture from Advanced Limos.

New Rolls Royce

Perhaps you’re looking for something a bit more modern. How about this nice Phantom Coupe? Lovely. (Really, can you go wrong with a Rolls? Actually, yes. Don’t go with something from the 80s…but then again, I’m no expert!!)

Lamborghini

This is one of those “out there” ones. It’s a (or the?) 2009 Edo Competition Lamborghini. Nice and sporty.

Vintage Ferrari

Unless you have a spare $11 million or so, this one may have to stay a dream. This 250 GT California Spyder was in fact purchased for $11 million. Picture and info from Elite Choice.

Here is a newer Ferrari, a 2009 California.

It’s nice to dream, isn’t it? What kind of vehicle do you see yourselves ridding off into the sunset in?

Have you thought of doing something different for your escort-card table?
You can turn a traditional table into a must see attraction at your reception.
Different shapes, a mix of looks and colors, or uncommon presentation… be creative and give your guests something to talk about.
Here are some ideas:
